TMIY is a Leadership program for men interested in learning more about their faith; where this knowledge aids in understanding it, being more able to live it, and more capable of sharing it. This helps the man lead his family and friendships more effectively.
In our most recent survey of our participants we learned: 1) their most favorite part was the content and discussing with other men how it applies to their lives. 2) The difference it made in their lives was stated: it helped me pray more and better; it helped me have a desire to read scripture on my own; and it helped me look forward to Mass.
When asked how does TMIY support our parish mission, they responded with: it helps me to act in a visible way for my family in line with Church teaching, begin to answers that my family asks; it helps me see the idols that get in my way of a relationship with God and my family.
Topics for this year include: 1) Becoming the man the Church needs to rebuild the kingdom 2) Contemplate a powerful, modern day prophecy and discern its profound implications and 3) Continue building a community of men that are deepening their faith, strengthening families, and building the kingdom of God.
